Hotel Matira Beach Bora Bora

Pros:
Great location and not a bad price for staying right on the beach. Breakfast is extra but the staff at the resort will bring it to your door each morning if you pay for it. There is plenty of space in the rooms and they are clean and comfortable. The gardens around the property are well maintained and even though the beach is public, it is still a magnificent location. Outdoor seating is wonderful and we used it to take in the views of the island every day.

Cons:
The rate was good compared to many of the other Resorts on Bora Bora. Be aware that the bungalows are sitting on a Public Beach. Be sure to lock up everything when you go out. There is no Air conditioning in the bungalows and they can get a little stuffy at night. The bathrooms take a little getting used to as the floor boards are not tight together and you can see through to the bottom.
