What makes this Hotel stand out is right in its name. The Sofitel Private Bora Bora Island is the only Resort in Bora Bora sitting on its very own Private Islet (small island). This truly makes it a NEAT Stay and is a unique experience you will not get from any of the other locations. The Bungalows above the water offer a great 360 degree view of the island and its surroundings. Located very nearby are the Coral Gardens, known to be one of the best locations to snorkel in the Bora Bora islands. The Snorkeling is great around the Sofitel Private Island Resort but there are other places you can catch an excursion and get in some additional under water fun. Breakfast is served each morning and the Private Island Sofitel Resort is one of the few locations offering a Free Breakfast option. The views while dining at the Manu Tuki restaurant are just exquisite. Be sure to dine outside and take in all of the picturesque scenes available during your visit.

PROS

Pros:
Most of the guests who visit the Sofitel Private Island in Bora Bora don't want to leave. The staff is said to be very friendly and will help with any needs. The water bungalows are the best place to be said many who stayed. The water is crystal clear and the location is fantastic. It was really nice having breakfast included with your stay. I have to say it was pretty awesome that the mini-bar is restocked each night. There is no where better to snorkel or take a kayak out.

CONS

Cons:
There are a few times the Restaurant is mentioned about the food not being up to the standards of some of the other fine dining restaurants. Some of the overwater bungalows are starting to show some wear and could really use an update.
