Overview of the Disney All Star Movies in Orlando
Which Disney movie is your favorite? If you love movies and you are looking to save some money on your next trip to Disney World, the Disney All Star Movies Orlando could be just the ticket. What movie sections are available at the Resort? How about Fantasia with oversized brooms and Mickey Mouse or The Love But, 100 Dalmations, the Mighty Ducks or most everyone’s favorite, Toy Story. All of the All Star Resorts are located side by side and at times will share transportation to the Disney Theme Parks.
Rooms
There are no Suites at the All Star Movies Resort in Disney World. The rooms are similar to what you would find in a standard Hotel with a couple of beds and a single bathroom. If you are looking for some additional space but still want to stay in the Economy line of Disney Hotels, take a look at Disney World All-Star Music Resort. This is the only All Star resort having Suites. If you want to step up to a slightly higher level, the Disney Pop Century or the Art of Animation Resort could be a better option.
Things to do
The Disney Value Resorts might not have all of the amenities you will find at some of the more expensive Moderate and Deluxe properties but they are perfect for the smaller kids. With large characters making up the different sections, your children will want to walk around and see them all. There are a total of 2 pools, the Fantasia Pool is the largest and has a Mickey Fountain. The Mighty Ducks Hockey pool is smaller but it is usually the more quiet option of the two. Beside the Fantasia pool, you will also find a small, shallow kids pool. If a storm rolls in, head over to the large arcade.
Dining
There are a number of options for dining at the Disney All Star Movies Resort but they are all in the main Food Court. All dining is casual and open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Pros:
The Themed areas are very cute for smaller children and the All Star Movies Resort is one of the Disney Value hotels. Parents mention that the kids really enjoy the pools even though there is not a Water Slide. Disney does a great job with training with the staff always being polite. The food is not bad, just understand that it is more of a cafeteria type setting.
Cons:
The rooms are a little on the small side with a couple of full beds. They are comfortable but it is tight getting around. Some guests are not really impressed with the Quick Service food options. Others feel that you have to wait a little longer for the Disney Shuttle service.
