Overview of the Disney All Star Music Resort in Orlando
Even though the Disney World All Star Music Resort is considered a Value Location, each of the Disney Resorts have something very NEAT to offer their guests. The All Star Music Resort is fun and wrapped in everything Music related around the Property. From the Entrance to each of the Rooms and Suites, look for items to bring out the musical style in your next visit. Located a little over 3 miles from I-4 off of W Osceola Pkwy, it is nearest to the Disney Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Hollywood Studios.
Rooms and Suites
Take time with your entire family to pick your Musical Themed section for your room. There are a total of 5 different themes to choose from; Calypso, Jazz, Rock n’ Roll, Broadway and Movies. The Suites offer the most space and can accommodate up to 6 guests. They have a private bedroom for the parents and a kitchenette. Most families agree, the additional expense can be worth having a suite, if for no other reason, having 2 full bathrooms. If you are looking to save as much money as possible, a standard room with 2 queen beds will sleep up to 4 guests.
Pools and Water Fun
Greeted by the Three Caballeros spraying water in to the main Guitar shaped Pool, entire families will have a great time splashing around and staying cool in the Florida sun. Behind Melody Hall, you can also find a shallow Children’s Pool with seating all around for the adults enjoyment. For a slightly more quiet experience near the water, the Grand Piano Pool, located in the back area of the All Star Music Resort, normally entices a somewhat smaller crowd. Each of the pools are great fun and have plenty of seating. On certain nights, you can catch a Disney Movie Under the Stars at the Calypso Pool.
Dining
You will not find any Table Service dining options at the Disney World All Star Music Resort but that does not mean you will be limited by selection. The All Star Music Food Court has many options and different sections to order just about anything you would like. This can be a nice experience since everyone might not want the same type of food at the same time. Don’t think you are limited though. All of the parks have many different dining options as well.

Pros:
Some guests mention that they liked the option of booking a Suite at the Disney Value All Start Music. the beds were very comfortable even though the regular rooms are a little small, it did not matter since we were running most of the time anyway. This gives additional space and having the Free Transportation from Disney World is always the best reason to stay on property. The kids loved the Themed pools and the Food Court has a lot of choices.
Cons:
Guests who look at the reviews find that many feel that the regular rooms are a little on the small side but live with that since it is the Economy side of the Disney World line. Some guests did find some things lacking in their rooms, usually small things like a light bulb out. Being a Disney property, you really expect the best, even in a Value property.
