Stretch out an lounge by one of the two large Infinity Pools giving you a sense of a complete connection with the Pacific. The Le Lotus is a sand-bottomed Infinity Pool with swim up bar and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Get up close and personal with up to 200 varying marine life in the Lagoonarium, natural aquarium and learn about corals and colorful fish. During your stay you will also have the opportunity of getting to know the Polynesian Island Culture with many different events from Shell and Flower Necklace making, a torch lighting ceremony and even a coconut show.

PROS

Pros:
A slice of heaven and heavenly are just a couple of descriptive words used to describe the InterContinental Tahiti Resort. Staff is very friendly and excited to help with any details on our trip. Two Infinity Pools are very unique, one of which is a sand bottom pool. Be sure to dine outside as much as possible as the views are just spectacular. An overwater bungalow was a highlight of the trip giving unobstructed views of the clear blue waters and the Island of Moorea in the distance. The Beach and Lagoon view rooms are worth the small upgrade. Be sure to check out the Lagoonarium, it is worth the visit and time to snorkel.

CONS

Cons:
Paradise can come with some bugs, quite literally says some of the guests. Mosquito's were mentioned as a slight issue in some of the areas and the garden rooms were a little small for some as well. The beaches were a bit rocky so be sure to wear appropriate footwear when walking or even spending time in the lagoon. Be prepared for some expensive food, even the breakfast is quite pricey.
