Prime Value Resorts at Universal Orlando
Clearly, you would think staying in one of the Universal Orlando Value Resorts most certainly will be a sacrifice. I mean, come on, compared to the Premier Hotels and the Preferred Hotels, it must be a pretty big step down to stay in the Prime Value Resorts at Universal Orlando, right? That is just not the case. Of course there are some differences but a large number of visitors to the Cabana Bay Beach Resort have no interest in changing. It might be worth looking at what the Value Properties have to offer.
Not only Value but Valuable
What is meant by this is, the Universal Value Hotels will definitely save you money but on top of that, it is very valuable to stay at an onsite property no matter what you are willing to spend. So what makes it valuable? Great pool amenities with lazy river, water slide and kids splash zone are just a few but the transportation is one of the best reasons.
Shuttle to the Parks?
While the Deluxe and Preferred Hotels offer a water taxi to and from the parks, the Universal Oralndo Value Resorts only have Bus transportation. Here is some good information though; since they only have shuttle buses to take you to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk, they run very frequently. You never have to wait very long to get where you are going and in some cases, this might be a faster way to get around. Walking is also an option but put some weight on the extra footsteps you will have after spending an entire day at the parks before making this your go-to option of travel.
Universal Orlando Express Pass?
The Express Pass at Universal Orlando is a great option, giving you front of the line access to many of the rides. This does not come with your stay at the Value resorts. You can still get an express pass but you will have to pay the daily fee and add it to your existing park tickets to use them.
Early park access
Even if you are staying in one of the Value Resorts at Universal Orlando, you still get one of the most exciting benefits of staying at an onsite Universal Resort, Early Park Access. At this time, you get early access to both parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure but only the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in both parks. Since this is the most visited area in the parks, it works out amazing to be around so few people and take in the fun of Harry Potter.
