The Rooms are impeccable, the staff is looking for ways to make your stay special and the Oceanfront views are ones you will never forget. Dining is a real treat in the Beachhouse at the Moana and don't miss out on the afternoon tea ritual. This is an activity that will take you back many years when it showed class to always have tea this way. The large porch on the back of the resort is a great place to relax and take in the views and many cultural activities.

Pros:
Going back in time to stay at the stately mansion, Moana Surfrider Resort in Waikiki, makes for an amazing Romantic vacation. Upper Tower Room with Private Balcony overlooking the beach and blue pacific ocean was well worth it. The back porch with rocking chairs is quite sophisticated and well designed. The massive Banyan tree is a treat in itself. Rooms are said to be clean, extremely comfortable. The Moana might be old in style but the rooms are up to date with the latest amenities. Easy walking distance to shops in downtown Honolulu.

CONS

Cons:
While most of the guests thoroughly enjoy the Moana Surfrider Hotel a few talk about it might not be the best place for small kids. The Pool is very small and not designed for little ones. This is a hopping place due to its historical significance making the beach a little overcrowded around the hotel. The standard rooms are discussed by a number of visitors as being quite small.
