Universal Studios Orlando onsite Hotels

What makes a visit to the Universal Theme Parks in Orlando so much more special is staying at one of the Hotels on-site at Universal Studios Orlando. Many of the surrounding hotels are just fine to stay at but consider making your next trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure a true NEAT Stay and reside in one of the many Themed Hotels offered near the parks. Not only do you get the benefits of being close to the parks, each of the onsite Universal Resorts has free transportation, are within walking distance, and you also gain early access.

Great Themed Resorts

Each of the Hotels on-site at Universal Studios Orlando have their very own, unique and compelling theme. Decide which one fits your family and sit back, relax and enjoy your stay.

For a more upscale stay, the Hard Rock Hotel is one of the more famous lines, with music memorabilia throughout, underwater speakers to enjoy music in the pool, a water slide and even rent a guitar to play in your room (headphones included of course). Maybe a trip to the tropics are more in order, if so, the Polynesian Themed Loews Royal Pacific Resort could be a better choice. Take a tour of Italy with many locations to take that perfect picture to send to send to your friends. Trust me, they will not know if you are overseas or at the Portofino Bay Hotel.

If a more cost conscious option is needed, or you just love a different theme there are a couple of other options available. After looking at the reviews for the Cabana Bay Beach Resort you would never guess that this Universal Orlando onsite Hotel is less expensive. The 1950’s theme is fantastic, and guests love the Water Slide and Lazy River option. One to consider. Don’t leave out the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort though. This island paradise is massive with a huge pool and water slide to have great family fun all trip long.

Transportation Advantages

Each of the Universal Orlando Onsite Hotels have complimentary transportation to City Walk, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure. All of the resorts offer water taxi transportation except for the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Although the water travel is a unique and fun experience, after you have taken the buses back and forth from Cabana Bay, you will find that they do an excellent job with this transportation as well. In case of a storm, the water taxi’s are shut down, and you will be traveling by bus or walking from each of the resorts.

Early Park Access

What a great option, to have access to the parks earlier than anyone else (except for the thousands of others staying at an Onsite Universal Hotel that is). Get to the parks an hour earlier than outside guests and enjoy the entire World of Harry Potter in both parks without all of the crowds. This alone is worth the stay at one of the Universal Orlando on-site Resorts for many visitors.

Express Passes

If you stay at any of the Deluxe Resorts, not only do you get early access to the parks, you also get Complimentary Express Passes to the parks each day. This gives you front of the line access to many of the rides and attractions in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. This can start to tip the scales when you start adding the cost of Express Passes for everyone if you are staying at a different resort.
