Overview of Disney Paradise Pier Resort

Go back to a time when life was more simple, yet still glamorous and stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland. This Hotel has a flare of the old style of Boardwalk you would see in California. While the theme might take you back in time, the resort itself is equipped with the most modern of conveniences.

The Disney Paradise Pier Resort is considered to be one of the Value properties at Disneyland. While this might be true from a price perspective, the quality and access will not let you down. The least expensive rooms are the Standard View with 2 Queen beds and can sleep up to 5 guests in a hotel like layout. The same room can be upgraded to a room with a view of the Theme Park. If a more “at-home” feel is what you are looking for, upgrade to a 1 or 2 Bedroom Suite. If you really need some space, the Signature suites can hold up to 13 guests.

Talk about fun, the kids are going to be completely shocked by having to head up to the 3rd floor to get to the Rooftop Pool. Having a pool on a roof is great but wait until the catch a glimpse of the twisting water slide. Yes, the water slide is on the roof too. For the adults, rent a Cabana for the day and relax in the bubbling hot tub.

Walking distance to California Adventure is great but if you run in to a rainy day, it is not bad to just hang around the Disney Paradise Pier Resort. Head over the to Arcade or let the kids enjoy their favorite Disney movie at the Paradise Theater.

Disney Paradise Pier Hotel Reviews

 PROS

Pros:
Time and time you will read about the Disney Paradise Pier guests saying that this resort still gives you the perks of staying in Disneyland at a cheaper rate. The views of California Adventure are spectacular and the rooms are very comfortable and nice. The rooms on the upper floors give the best views. Our kids loved the rooftop pool and the water slide was fun and safe with its own splash area. If you have small kids be sure to work in the Character breakfast.

 CONS

Cons:
Having the view of California Adventure was nice but I wish we had a balcony with our room. Some guests, especially ones who did not go with kids did not find as much "Disney" appeal and felt that some of the rooms could use some updating.
