Overview of the Disneyland Hotel Resort
To many visiting Disneyland, there is no better place to stay than the original Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim California. It’s location is tough to beat and is situated close enough to Downtown Disney, Disneyland and California Adventure to walk. You will get a sense of just how different the Hotel is by walking through the front door and sitting in the teacup seating.
Each of the rooms at the Disneyland Hotel are designed to give you the feeling that you are truly somewhere special. Mickey’s located in so many locations, be sure to look for them in unique places. Suites are also available from 1 to 3 bedrooms and there are also a number of Signature Themed suites available to make your trip even more memorable.
And just wait until you start walking around the property to see everything there is to do. The main pool is shaped like a Mickey and the main stand out feature would have to be the 2 Water Slides themed with colorful Monorails acting as tunnels. Under the slides, there are a couple of smaller water slides for the little ones and shallow water making it fun for all ages.
Multiple Restaurants around the grounds will keep you full and happy. While there is not a free breakfast option, if you purchase a Disney Dining Plan you can dine at many places in the parks. Be sure to stop by Goofy’s Kitchen and take in a first rate Character Dining experience at least once in your stay.

Disneyland Hotel Reviews
Pros:
Most guests love the timeless style and elegance that surrounds the Disneyland Hotel and while there might be newer places to stay, this is the most iconic. The rooms, while not huge have ample space and are comfortable with special features throughout. The staff is said to be very nice and happy to help with anything needed. The added convenience of being so close to everything in Disneyland is by far the best reason to stay.
Cons:
Some guests staying in the standard rooms felt they are a little small. The prices of things around the resort and parks are pretty expensive. A suite might be a better option if you need more space. Not having a closet in the room was difficult to do without.
